Default Ferrari 458 Spider

The profile looks good, but otherwise it's a bit of a mess IMHO.

Any pics of it with the roof in place? I take it they have stuck with a fabric roof?

Doesn't look that bad to me and it will sell well for them!

The humps on the back look too far apart though...

No fabric roof; here's the headline from the Ferrari site

"The new Ferrari 458 Spider: the world’s first mid-rear engined berlinetta equipped with a retractable hard top"

I can't find any images with the roof in place, but I guess it will look little different from the existing berlinetta...

Good find.

I wonder if the roof doubles as an air-brake...

And I can imagine the beautiful-people being a little miffed; the spider looks pretty much the same (roof up) as the berlinetta and thus it'll be difficult for the proles to notice the difference.

I was looking forward to this release
But that's a bit of a let down

Its a Renault Wind with a bigger engine
I doubt that will be movable on the move
For me the styling is all over the place - shame

Roof up it looks the same from the side but will have a Gallardo style vertical rear window bit

Nope Ferrari have boobed here. Spiders are normally drop dead but this ones a miss. The car looks shocking on that first picture with the rear looking very "awkward"

Gutted as I was really looking forward to the launch of this one.

Will be suprised if they shift many of these. By comparison the 458 italia tintop is much better looking
