Default Ferrari 612

Seen one!

Lughed at the sweep panels. They'd turned the edges so that one could see the metal behind (like the bottom seam on cheap trousers). It really looked like it had had an accident & the panel was bent in. Especially since the shutline wasn't parallel to the door.

Now I know what a 250TR looks like & I know what they were trying to do (make it look not like an Aston & every other modern car of its type) but per-lease!

No wonder Pininfarina's just given their (Japanese) stylist the tin tack.

It also had the nastiest German-style 'eighties alloys with the allen-screwheads in them.

Now, I know that everyone, including Honda, have ripped off the classic starfish wheels, but there was a good reason for that. Elegance.

There is some understated subtlety around the rear wings and lights, but otherwise it's trying too hard.

I like the design of the 612, not as much as I like the huge depreciation they suffer from

Saw a black one in central Manchester last week and liked it. Not classically beautiful like some Ferraris but a handsome, striking car.

For some reason I thought you were talking about the 599............doh

Anyway, I think the big Scag is still an impressive machine. Very understated, but more than capable

Saw this one at Oulton Park last year

A rare manual

The 599 is the one with the noisy wiper blades.

I completely disagree, the car is VERY striking in person with masses of road presence, I cant wait to see a 599 on the road...

Was the 612 in the Top Gear race to the Alps, if that is what you are referring to
