Default Focus CMAX victim

i was heading into work the other day.. a bit late so liberal use of the right foot where appropriate.. I overtake this van and bomb off down this single carriageway, in my mirror i notice this cmax who was hanging around behind me <struggle> past the van.. hmm..

then at the next lights he pulls alongside me, i'm at the front, i'm clearly pushing on.. i think "ffs, i bet it's a tdi.." so i carry on with the right boot and he pulls in behind as we drop back to one lane.. next lights it's 2 lanes again but there's a 30mph limit for 100 yards which includes 2 lovely little speed cameras.. i think to myself 'maybe he doesn't know'..

the lights go green and i shoe it.. the HKS roars, the back end sits down and this daft cmax squeaks a wheelspin.. i hit 25mph and come right off the gas, the cmax catapults past.. straight through the speed camera.. flash flash

it didnt end there.. there was a merc being driven quite quickly behind me, we came to a dual lane bit again and the merc sails past me and the car in front and slots in behind '3 points guy'.. who then pulls into a long parking bay on the left indicating but not slowing.. aiy aiy? he thinks he's in a filter lane and suddenly it comes to an end but now merc guy is alongside him.. you then see the two cars slamming on, avoiding eachother by inches.. at the next lights there are a few corse words exchanged between merc guy and 3points.. 3 points is some old sunday driver type..

heh heh..

I love it when this happens. I had a similar situation last year when I was still in the Clio 182. Some local chav in an Escort RS. We were making pace up the Bristol Road in Bham and I back right off at the traffic camera and he sails through with two flashes. Unfortunately in my case, by the look of the driver, I doubt it mattered as I would be suprised if the car was registered/insured/etc...

The best for me was when i was in the S, i was approaching a 60mph zone there was a chavalier GSI itching to get past and right up my arse - pisses me off!.

The speed limit was 50 before than, i was "just" under the speed limit and notice a police car hidden on an hill in the corner of my eye.

At this time the Chavalier GSI was right up my arse, we got to the 60mph and he shot right past me, shortly after whumphhhh! a police car with lights on pulls him over down the bottom of the hill.

Classic

Its normal for todays roads.

How many times do you sit behind some berk doing 40mph..and then thinking "ok...so its the limit...I'll calm down and sit behind him"....and then watch him career through a housing estate, past a school....still at 40

I give up with these tossers.

I tried to out drag a BMW diesel and Ok he'd started accelerating before the no-limit sign so he was already alongside when I dropped down several gears and booted it but he steadily pulled away! Beaten by a Bl**** diesel. Still I got my own back on Mondeo Man who thought he would floor it as I started to overtake. He was obviously flat out as there was thick smoke out the back as I sailed past. Made me feel much better!

Sad isn't it!

I thought Focus C-Max Victim was the latest of Ford's pointless model designations.

This particular model on the van club is known as the C-Max Vanquish, counting a S2000 as an easy kill...

However the S-Max, is in the supercar league.

(Although it does get good reviews in 2.5 litre Turbo form )
