I thought that fog lights were to be used only in fog or falling snow? Any light on the front of the car below bumper level was classed as a fog light and only used as such, but then I'm old(ish) and this goes back a while. I always meant to ask in a new car showroom about front lights that come on with indicators as cornering, need to read up on construction and uses papers.
My first car that had front fogs had the switch combined with the headlight switch so they could only be used with dipped headlights and went off when the headlights were extinguished, would this be hard for manufacturers to do.?
In 35 years of driving I've used foglights less times than I have fingers, if memory serves.

Front fogs are less of a problem than rear fogs and certainly less of a problem than Range Rovers etc with Xenons - I can't stand those as they are really bright and offensive when they are coming the other way or right behind you.

Funnily enough I followed someone into my office this morning with her rear fog light on. I told her after she parked up just in case she wasn't aware they were on. Her response was simply, "so what", a shrug of the shoulders and she walked off.

When you get a response like that what can you do?
Put a screwdriver through it.

People who blind you with a burst of Main beam to thank you, I'll never understand.
Worse are the dorks who blind you as you are overtaking and are on their side of the road.

I have nearly 400HP and a big foot.

So I WILL get past long before its an issue to you.

Unless you blind me and I crash into you.

Stupid twats.

ooh, are these the idiots who trundle along at 40 in a 60 then boot it when you go out to overtake...

smart move that one, lets try and cause a multi car pile up to preserve ones pride.

Being hung out to dry on the wrong side of the road for a second longer than necessary is just plain dangerous.
