He clearly overtook whilst going past yellow lights. So unless the yellow lights are on for the yellow/red slippery flag, which doesn't seem likely, he really should have got a penalty.
But it's done. Vettel was incredibly lucky not to be knocked out of the race with the collision he caused; incredibly lucky not to get a penalty for causing said collision, and incredibly lucky again not to get a penalty for the yellow lights. He might have pushed Kobayashi off the track too. If all that had happened to Alonso people would be going on about Ferrari International Assistance.

Haters gonna hate btw.
Great race today, Vettle was a pussy and so wound up and tight by pressure that he caused all kinds of crap to happen to him today, and talk about lucky, he shouldn't have even finished the race ... anyway he did and now we have to live with his fecking smugness all next year too.
The first 40 laps of that GP was some of the most exciting driving I think I have seen all year, it was immense, and Alonso has gone way up in my estimation of him I have to say. Firstly for losing the championship by only 3 points in a car that was top 5 at best most of the season is quite amazing, secondly for the way he has handled himself and his team, and thirdly for surviving that tank slapper in the rain today
Great race, great season, looking forward to next year already.

Felt for Senna today. He needed a result and while the collison wasn't his fault, Vettel may have sealed his F1 fate for next year. Slight sentiment there, as I don't think Senna is as fast as his team mate.
Massa is getting faster and faster which is interesting.
Button and Hamilton racing each other was great too.
Well done CG
PS - not liking Georgie's spray on dress.

Great race today!
Felt sorry for Hamilton, but if you watched how Button just left Hulkenburg to get on with it, and left Hamilton to get on with it as well. He was playing a very clever long game and deserved the win, but Hamilton didn't deserved to be punted off. Cost McLaren 2nd place in the constructors too.

I agree with your comments on Alonso.
