The Formula 1 Thread - 2015
I was very surprised to see Hamilton take pole today. Rosberg has been fast in practice, and thought he was going to easily get the better of Lewis. Also surprised to see Vettel so low down, did he have an issue on his final run that I didn't see?

I think we will have a bit of a shake up at Spa, generally Lewis is not so good here, and Kimi is often on fire, so my prediction is
1. Kimi
2. Nico
3. Lewis
then again, if it rains then all bets are off and anyone can win ... as we know!

What is interesting is that Rosberg is generally a bit faster than Hamilton in sector 1, which is where the overtaking takes place. With DRS etc, it could mean that if he gets ahead there, he'll stay there.

No, I didn't put the bet on

Good point about Rosberg and sector 1.

Then again Lewis is miles faster in sector two, you have to take into account that he was half a second faster over one lap, that is huge in the same car. Yeah Kimi dipped out a bit there, but some are saying it will rain tomorrow during the race, if that happens spa can become a lottery so you never know.

If Rosberg can get in front early, he may well stay there. Hopefully it'll mean a good race between the two of them, not really something we've had for a long time.
Having the Ferraris out of position should make things a bit more fun, too.
