It's like he feels he needs to remind the viewers that it's not his fault he is fighting for 10th.

Wasn't too bad compared to previous races. The 2 of them have been in that podium room a lot over the last 2 years... Hamilton barely speaks to any other driver in there it seems.

No, it's an observation and a valid one. All the other drivers manage to speak to each other. Lewis and Nico can barely look at each other and it's very clear to see the atmosphere between them.

Looks like Vettel and Rosberg won't be quite so friendly on their next visit to the "Room of Awkwardness".

From the transcript https://www.formula1.com/content/fom...e---japan.html

Q: (Andrea Cremonesi - La Gazzetta dello Sport) For all of you: some of your colleagues yesterday were worried about the tyre pressures. They said there was too much pressure and they were worried they might have some problems during the race. Have you been affected in the race by that?

NR: No, not at all. Everything was perfect. No problems at all.

SV: Were you low again? I’m joking. You can laugh as well. It was a joke, come on.

NR: I’m smiling!
