Yep great result for Button.

Extra borefest of a race.

GP2 is far better. Most of the field crossed the line within a few seconds. Proper racing.

Boring indeed.

To sum up the race: Max continues to move in the braking zone and Nico forgets how to use his steering wheel again.

That was poor. Really don't have any time for Rosberg anymore, and he's an aggressive / defensive c@#t in interviews.

No. You can't brake and steer at the same time if you're using all the tyre grip for retardation. If Nico hadn't have had to jink to avoid Max, he'd have stopped that couple of metres shorter.

Not to Mention him getting ran out of track by Danny Ric earlier in the race.

And what Hamilton did to him In Bahrain 2014, Texas 2015, and Canada 2016.

Yeah...

Yes, Rosberg's attitude/skill must be worrying to management. Hopefully a break will cool things down but he really messed up off the grid, when Hamilton seems to have improved on his early season performance there. All flows from that.

edit:
Plus as Ron says you can't steer when braking heavily.

Ah yes Mclaren

The point is that he either cocked yo his braking enough to force him off the track, or as I suspect, he was being a twat and did actually have more braking room available but chose to let the car push on a bit.

It was a penalty for me.

If he was clever about it he'd have locked up a bit so it didn't look as obvious as it did.

Think he's got such a lack of creativity this is the only move he knows..

I first thought that Verstappen might get a penalty for going off track and taking an advantage as he clearly used the run off to attack Rosberg. I don't buy "forced" off track as had there been a gravel trap there he'd have lifted off and stayed on track behind Rosberg. I'm pretty sure Vettel got a penalty for overtaking Button (I think) after using the run off in exactly the same place a few years ago.

Slightly harsh move from Rosberg, but a dumb penalty. We're into the realms of stopping them racing.

Don't think I can agree. Max was entitled to stay to the outside as you have to expect the other driver to give you space. Nico didn't stick to the track space he should have, and effectively forced Max off the track.

It was just a poor move imo and I'd have been pissed if someone had run me out that wide. Correct call by the stewards for me.
