I've also worked out what you lot are on about when you say push down on the side of the handlebar in the direction you're going. Makes long sweeping bends a piece of piss.

Tips the bike very nicely around and into corners.
I don't actively do it all the time, although perhaps do it without thinking about it.
I did read an article in a bike mag once about someone being taught to countersteer extremely agressively on a track training school, and the correspondent was amazed at how effective it was when used in that way.
