Going to the Belgian GP
I'm so excited, after years of saying, "We'll go to Spa this year", my husband and I have finally booked it up. We've got a Bronze pass for the whole weekend and hope to get there about 11ish on the Friday, leaving after the race on Sunday with enough time to get the 10pm ferry at Dunkirk.
We are going to be camping on one of the sites at the circuit. This is what I'm apprehensive about. I've camped once before, at the foot of Snowdon in March on a 'lovely' team building course. Hated every minute!
Now, the motivation of seeing F1 will make it easier for me, but I have heard that there is only running water and 'toilets' at the site! It's hard to work out whether there are actual showers. My thinking is that it might not be as modern as a larger campsite as it probably isn't used that much. Anyway, I guess I can rough it for a few days, just hope it's not to rainy, although for a spectacle I would like it to rain.
Back to the point, I thought there's bound to be a few of you who have been there for the GP before, and wondered if you had any advice. We love walking round circuits when we go to watch racing and will obviously want to take in the highlights like Eau Rouge and Blanchimont. That's it really.
Many thanks all.
Dini.

Scott, I don't have the money for that! (hubbie's paying for this trip as I paid - am still paying - for Euromeet) Plus don't want to be taking too much stuff with me. I have a bad feeling it might be wet wipes and that's that!
What's a girl to do!? It is only 2 nights.....
I really shouldn't be so precious ;-)
Tips and experience from anyone else still welcome.

Hi M1
Thanks for the suggestion - I'm afraid the inn is full though! I very much doubt there will be room anywhere else.
To be honest, it's all booked now and I'm going with gritted teeth and will make the most of it. I think we'll end up having a laugh anyway. Just wanted any advice from anyone who's camped there before.
I guess what's the worst that could happen - you just don't get to wash properly for a few days!
