Go and look at the Revo kit. That would be something I would put my money on

I can confirm the new ones with revo software are rapid! , I had a go with one in my 335d and although I was right up its chuff I don't think I had to power to overtake, then I seen the revo sticker on the back when I came to a stop at a roundabout.

Look smart too!

I was just reading about them. To 60 in 3.7 which is ballistic but doesn't tell the full story as the in gear speeds do not fair as well.

Still seriously quick tho

On piston heads there are lots of comment these and quite big discounts being offered , and also seem to be a target for thieves

The big discounts on them are gone now. All ended at end of October.

I've got one on order. The revo software will flag a td1 code and invalidate your warranty. The dtuk tuning boxes are getting a lot of good reviews and results and don't flag the mod at the dealers.

If you lease, any such mod will breach the terms of the lease. One for owners this, not renters .

Is it not quick enough standard anyway?

Sometimes really pushing up on power points towards a major part failing somewhere. You'd have to hope the haldex unit can take the beating, and transmission. You'd be lighting up all 4 wheels on a greasy road no doubt!

A manager at work has the new Golf GTI and said he had his mapped it to 316bhp (wasn't aware it could be hiked so far). It was undriveable, fun for a day though. I could have told him that though if I knew he was upping the power like that. Its balanced but boring the Gti. He should have got the R.
