Yes, at Swindon, Kobe. I'm sure I read somewhere that the JDM CTRs are then exported back to Japan!

Built in Britain and exported to Japan. The lucky sods can get white and they have Recaros/LSD and Momo wheel........

I would think there's every chance Honda will introduce new colour options for the UK with each model year, as they've done wth the S.

The BHP change is more than likely to do with emissions and fuel, there more relaxed over there and I think they get 400Ron fuel

All Honda engine's that come from the JDM usually run a higher compression ratio than the UK spec cars, it is mostly to do with the fuel though, thats why they get more BHP than we do

You dont get as much as youd think from higher octance fuel.
IIRC the major contributing factors to the JDM model having more bhp are a different header and freer flowing exhaust.

Mostly.

The engines are made in Japan, shipped to Swindon, fitted, then shipped back in the car.
