I don't like deroofed coupes. There's not much wrong with the GT86 by all accounts but if they add 200kg it'll be a poseurs car IMO. At the moment its like the first mx5.

As for 200 brake not being enough i used to think that. But the sort of speeds I end up doing in the M I'm quite likely to be getting the f@#king bus soon

I know exactly what you mean. I've been "catching the bus" for the past 4 months.

Bad luck, Blurter. Hopefully not long now...

These interfering zombies are a menace to society.

It is an interesting comparo; I do drive the NSX faster, but not that much faster, really. I find the visibility/road conditions limit the terminal velocity. I suppose it's just one spends more time waiting for the redline to hit in the intermediate gears. The S2000 is still best for that overall, since it sounds most like it's gonna grenade in 4th & 5th...

Saw a GT86 in white today coming the other way for the first time. God it looked good . I thought at first is that a Lexus LFA? White is definately the best colour I have seen it in so far:

It just had such presence in white on the road. The pictures above don't do the car justice how good it looks in the flesh.

Wouldn't sound much like an LFA

Blurter, it's way too easy, for you mate. It does worry me a lot, there's a certain dual carriageway I was using until recently and in the M you could all too easily be doing 120 plus

Im in the same boat. I've already been 'spoken to' by the rozzers for being a bit naughty

A clear bit of road equals flat out to me, but redline in 2nd is licence losing

Exige beckons for road fun.

Yeah the S2k is plenty. The roads are too busy and the police are too well equipt. M cars are pointless for me. Too expensive to track and way too fast for the road. I need my licence for work too so can't afford to get "carried away". Which I guess is where the GT86 fits in nicely. Not an ideal family car though
