Saw one of these for the first time today. The owner was making it go sideways round a roundabout. Looked pretty spectacular. Nice looking car. I get the impression its more about making driving fun rather than outright speed. The owner had a big grin on his face so it must be working.

Saw a white one today, it looked really nice, certainly looked more than 25k to someone who doesn't know their onions IMO

He wasn't sliding it anywhere though

Talking of which my winters need to go on now

They're almost impossible to slide in VSA on mode; very nannying, but I think I understand why.

VSA Sport mode & it's almost exactly how you'd imagine it to be.

RichUK's mate, Mark Hales, said in this months TrackDriver mag that 'What Toyota have done is create an under tyred proper handling sports car that will send novices to the neared ditch.'

Hence that traction control!

Was at the Autosport show yesterday and there were lots of motorsport places showing off their hot versions of the GT86 and it's twin. The cheapest power hike was £4k + VAT if you want a supercharger kit which boosts the output to 280 bhp - seems like a waste of a supercharger to me

It was bloody massive though wasn't it! I preferred the Green R32 - looked plenty awesome enough!

We got talking to the owner of the 650 bhp beast and he very kindly let me sit in it and he was a really pleasant chap. Turns out a number of the GTR owners club went along to RAF Marham last year with the 'HULK' where that clocked 218 mph and the 650 bhp one did 178 mph - obviously on the runway......... absolutely insane!!
