50-60 horses for a grand is an equation most modding S2000 owners would kill for!

Jellus,

Get rid of the HKS intake - its bordering on dangerous. All it will filter is flies and twigs. No joke - its totally appalling. Great air flow though.

What ECU is it running? Those mods look exactly like the car has been setup for a remap'd ECU or aftermarket. 1.5 bar is not what the stock ECU gives, so something has been adjusted (hopefully not just with a controller)

It may well be 320 bhp from stock, but if its running 1.5 bar held, thats going to be similar, if not more poke than mine (yours has turbo elbow which gives a bit of poke)

Get it dyno'd - I think you will be surprised.

PS - guessing my bhp on what you have been told yours puts out isnt very scientific

Antilag - sounds good but as said, not great for the turbo Just realised, it mustbe running a Motec / AEM or Autronics to have Antilag.

Mark, I have discovered it is running an autronic ECU which was mapped by Mark Shead of MA Developments.

HKS air filter was what the car came with from Ralli Art UK. How is it dangerous?

Thanks for the advice mate. Still miss my S2000 though.

Cheers Nick - I have a problem with patience I tend to trawl through the net finding out the best routes of tuning and crack on with it.

Jellus, he's a well thought of chappie. I think yours will ahve the titanium turbo and some other trick bits, guess on 370 ish from the car. Be very interested in a dyno result! Or just give Mark a ring and see what he thinks its putting out. All figures at the end of the day, but always handy to know.

Re the filter - dangerous may be a little strong. My car came with an HKS Super Power Flow induction kit. It was in the boot of the car in a box. When I had the filter in my hand and could clearly see my fingers though the other side of the foam, I promptly put it on Ebay. Grannies tights would filter more - no joke! A lot of people use them as they give the power, but I wouldnt have it on mine. You might have to get the map checked if you change it though - its amazing what a slight change can do to well mapped car.

I miss the nimbleness of the S. My tyres are an absolute joke, so at current it just will not grip - the S was quicker round / over roundabouts. Tyres and geometry is my next task...

Sounds great Mark, I'd like a new car but will have to wait until next year. I still want to keep the S and am strongly leaning towards an Evo or and R34 . Not sure if the budget will stretch to the latter though.

Turbo'd cars have so much potential for minimal outlay. Im sure your Evo will soon be 400+ , . Then time to swap, skyline maybe
