I would take any magazine review with a large pinch of salt, they have to make money from their advertisers and can only be so objective about these things.....

Very few 'testers' complain that cars are now set up for the Playwithyourselfstationgeneration, who dislike linear responses and steering feel, or other stuff not experienced using a surrogate.

I think it is therefore a deliberate dumbing down and hacks don't like to offend their paymasters.
