Nothing wrong with those two Bibbs - two BMW crackers! Two of my faves are the original M5 (E28) and the M635 CSi.

I think the new M3 will sound fabulous up close and personal!

I would have *loved* an M635 CSi when they were current models, but unfortunately I was too young to drive or own a car then

I drove one four years ago and it was still special to me, nothing put me off. I'd STILL have one now, but running one as a day to day car will ruin what little value it has left.

It's just the newer ones are so refined and bland to me.
No doubting they make good cars, but they are lacking flair and passion.

I suppose Alfa is the ying to BWMs yang.

Full of flair and passion, but slow and rubbish

Its probably a bench test recording. You are not going to get a decent idea untill you here it on the street. Just hope it lives up to the hype and the ridiculously long build up to release. Matt, when do you think we wil see the first road test by a magazine? The dealer has told me that we should see the first cars reaching customers towards end of year.

I heard the clip from Geneva, and if you do a search of it going around the ring it sounds lovely.

- my straight six sounds much better than that.

Did sound like an impressively long rev range for a big engine though.
