I suspect it will be the three litre. The six is rare and usually has mega miles.

6 Litre is Petrol only, no?
5 Litre is the V10 and is only diesel.

There's a few 5L V10 on ebay for not much money < 10k and under 100k miles ..... but i'd still be really wary of what might need doing.

No its 3l v6, I've got vag com and it's a late 2010 2 previous owners.

Could be terrible mistake or good choice, I want 4wd for extra safety and being able to make it into work (with winter tyres on) as I'm self employed.

Bit of fun too want to try a few different cars and the S is staying, I do a good few motorway miles now.

From a previous thread, apparently the 3.0TDI is a better lump than the 5L V10 ..... but that's the internet, good and bad from either.

Be interested to see how it pans out over 6 months or so.

At least if you break down and get stranded you'll be comfy
