Going North on the A1(M) just after 10:30am this morning and I see 3 police pursuit vehicles waiting at the bottom of the Southbound Letchworth junction.

As I pass the put their lights on and move off.

Couple of miles further up the road I see a white VW Saloon being pursued at well over 100mph by a further 2 pursuit vehicles with lights flashing.

Either that or a minister/chief constable was late for lunch

(The 5 cars were at the Stevenage roadside police station when I returned a couple of hours later but no sign of the VW)

 

was it a white passat? 54 or 55 plate?

if so it would be a police training based at Harston/duxford never seen them blasting that fast though.
