470 miles today, day trip from Edinburgh to Applecross for lunch and back again. Large amounts of quality roads and the same amount of brilliant scenery. And far less of the shitty traffic Wales suffers from.

Brilliant time, even though I'm in a shitty diesel.

Even the drive from Newcastle to Edinburgh is brilliant. I recommend the Coldstream road.

 

That is a long old run. Why in a diesel?

Scotland (and Wales) have some of the best scenery anywhere in the world imo.

 

I must get up there one day

 

I'm in a diesel because that's what my car is. Will probably be replaced with an m3 or m135i next year.
