Honda announce New Sports Car today

The automaker plans to unveil a new Accord sedan and a next-generation sports car at the Detroit motor show in January. For 2007, Honda expects a further 3 percent increase in sales to 1.56 million units in the U.S.

Presumably one lies flat and pedals away like a horizontal cyclist.

As usual, Car is FOS. Is the copywriter from Viz?
The proportions clearly suggest front-mid, although that could be a deliberate ruse...rumours go either way.

So as the S2000 nears 8 years of production does it look as though it will discontinue it or will Honda up date it?
Certainly no hot press news / spy shots, so if it does happen then it won't be released until around 2010.
I've loved the look since it first came to my attention and I think it is still a very fresh look
