Default Honda Integra Type R (98)

My mate has just got one of these and I have noticed a few people on here have owned one in the past, he has a service coming up soon (done 55k I think) and is getting the oil changed, wants to take his own and just wants to know what is best?

Also, are there any good sites like this one but for the TEG?
And where is best to get parts from, brake disks, pads etc.
oh and one more thing, what is the best air intake system for it, any good ram pipes and filters about.

Cheers

Hi there,

I was using Castrol SLX Fully Syn in my TEG, seemed to do the job nicely....

As to forums, the best I know is http://www.honda-r.org.uk/ follow the link to the message board, it's the same as posted by LRK and also the Home of the UK Honda-R club, happy reading and I hope it helps....

I sure do!!! He's one of the composite lads in the drawing office. Basically I put together what he designs. Is that a small enough world for you!!

Your mate's got a good car there!!!

Is a nice car, Recaro seats hold you so much more than the stock S2000 ones, he took me out for a spin in it, doesn't sound as good as the S but is nice and quick.

Couldnt agree more, my mate has a 99 Teg and the seats are fantastic, you sit in them and theres just no movement at all big strong sides gripping my love handles, if only the S had such good seats.

Standard features:
> integrated headrest
> pronounced shoulder support
> distinctive pronounced seat and backrest bolsters
> recline adjustment on both sides
> seat backrest release on both sides
> lumbar support
> belt guides for four-point seat belts

Could just buy a pair I guess, someone in the states did - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=65460
