I've signed it, but I believe the engine is only rated at 220HP

It does have a brembo brake setup and an LSD which will make it much more effective than the Civic, but it is still too close to the CTR to be a viable proposition for Honda to market.
If you add to this that it would have to be imported from Japan whilst the CTR comes from Swindon just across the channel, I'm afraid your chances are slim at best...
