Default Honda NSX

I love my S2000 but I also love the NSX, so my question is should I continue modding my S or should I just put the money towards an NSX?

Another vote for the NSX.

I owned an S2000 for 5 years / 50k miles. Great car, and I would have another in a shot (so long as I could keep my NSX...Graves you are a fortunate bugger ).

The NSX is a wonderful road car - rare, a great sense of occasion each time I take it our and tremendous to drive, the extra torque the additional cc's / cylinders give make the car feel appreciably quicker.

I miss the open top driving the S offered, but that is about it. (An NSX targa is always an option).

Boring practical stuff which shouldn't influence car buying decisions: If you spend money on modding your S, it is likely you will loose a fair chunk of that money. Buy a nice NSX (they are scarce, but with patience one will come along) and keep it that way, you wont loose much money in depreciation over the next 3 or 4 years I would wager.

Gratuitous NSX photo.......Y1 at FoS this year....

It all depends what you want and how far you're prepared to go.

If you're looking at leaving the S2000 N/A then get the NSX instead, if going F/I then the decision gets harder.

The NSX for me was always an amazing car, however in the end I wanted more and wasn't prepared to modify the NSX as costs are huge even compared to S2000 modification.

I hated the seats, even though they are very comfortable and hugging I wanted more, however the ultimate option is to go for NSX-R or NSX-S seats and at around £10k for the pair it starts to get very expensive.

I'm still looking for a Lime Green metallic NSX-S zero, if one ever comes up for sale at a reasonable price then I'll buy it, if not then it's going to be Italian all the way......

It's not really a logical progression - the S2000 is a raw, rumbustious roadster, the NSX is a far more civilised machine.

I don't much like driving the S2000 with the roof up; on a roof down day, it's unbeatable.

The NSX is just incredibly good at everything. It's just not as visceral, for when you're in the mood.

So I have both.

Gratuitous pic:
