i would say NSX, if you can find a nice one in your budget.

you could always sell the NSX and pick up a s2000 to mod, but finding that that NSX is going to get harder and harder.

I think you're ignoring the point; improving an NSX is a lot harder & more costly than an S2000.

There are plenty of old NSXs for sale, which have been riced to buggery; a potential money pit, mostly. As well as suffering the 'more money than taste' issues that any riced/pasta'd supercar inevitably suffers from, for good reason.

Far cheaper to Rotrex an S2000.
Sorry, I think your misunderstanding me, I can't leave any car alone unless it like it how it is. Ie my ideal nsx would have an nsx r kit, with breathing mods, and that's it, as a standard pre facelift model looks a little bare to me.

NSX very dated now. Went in one recently. The interior was hideous new and still is.

Keep the S.

Oh and the parts are bend over city on the NSX. Okay so they are rare but that rear quarter panel still looks too long and the steering is slow witted.

The S2k is a much nicer looking car and great to drive.

(and this is from a non S2K owner!)

NSXs are too special to start messing around with unless you're going to really go for it.

Stick to the S

from a grown up point of view - you'll get most of your money back on the NSX should you sell.

Money spent modding the S is money you'll never see again..

Modding an NSX is crass.

Hmmm, that's why I'm thinking of getting one already modified.

What's the difference track time wise between a 3.0 nsx and a 99 S2000?

The famous video, in certain parts he makes references to an NSX.

I'd hang on for a modified one, Jim.

Mods are just silly money on the NSX!
