Go for the NSX. Life's too short, and even if you get rid of it soon after, I believe values are reasonably static on them now?

Get an NSX.....

then start modding that. I love 'fettled' NSX's.

Just don't go down the 'hellaflush' route

Hmmmm, this really is interesting now, I think I could get about 8k for mine as it is or broken.

Ideally Id like an early NSX which has been facelifted and slightly modified, so I wouldn't have to mess with it.

Can you remap the 3.0 ? do you get much gains? I imagine they will be a detuned unit for emissions.

I think you're ignoring the point; improving an NSX is a lot harder & more costly than an S2000.

There are plenty of old NSXs for sale, which have been riced to buggery; a potential money pit, mostly. As well as suffering the 'more money than taste' issues that any riced/pasta'd supercar inevitably suffers from, for good reason.

Far cheaper to Rotrex an S2000.

Quite so.

Your original post said "...so my question is should I continue modding my S or should I just put the money towards an NSX?"

You are now talking about selling your S2000, buying an NSX......& mod'ing it!

This is a different question altogether, with perhaps not unexpectedly, quite a different set of answers.

Early cars definitely, not so much the later ones but still good gains to be had.
