You're not telling me that no one on here that drives something quick-ish, hasn't at some point traffic light raced or got the horns to pass someone when they didn't need to?
We are men, we are stupid. We like speed, but we know that behaving ourselves can sometimes be difficult when you're presented with lots of horses or even torque (pipe down LG :-) ). And there's many reasons why we drive fast. We get angry at being late, spontaneous wanna feel the power, other drivers dickishness, wife speak, other life pressures, kids messing in the back. Or serious bad habits. To all those speeders, you deserve what you get.

Whatever car you drive, whether it's a classic old thing that you're mending, or something warp speed fast to you anyway- use your brain.. there's always that worry that the kid will step out to collect his football whilst you're being careless. But you know what? As earlier said, you do grow up and understand it's just completely anti-social to speed in built up areas. I'm absolutely all for handing out tickets to those that do 40-odd in a 30.
For those with m3's, lotus's, GTR'S, whatever- for Pete's sake take 'em to the track and learn something.
Otherwise, apart from flexing your suns out guns out with windows down, what's the point? Ego? Mid life C?

Interesting. I know the track is tight but the civic is giving away 120bhp....

I was about to post that vid. He turned off his tc though which is daft in a car with serious traction issues

But still. Is the Honda lighter by a good chunk?

Well I can't see it being lighter than 1300kg, so it's going to be in the region of 150-200kg lighter than the bimmer.

I looked on the brochure

1382-1397kg so no lightweight but the BM is 1612kg.. what a phat bast - nearly as bas as SCs car

interestingly evo list the BM as 1497kg and the Honda as 1378 but I think the vid exposes that as bollox, it's still 262bhp/ton with the higher weight vs the Hondas 226 which I guess shows you what a crap job BM have done with the latest M3

There's more to it than a simple power/weight ratio...
