IIRC you've wanted a 'vette for quite some time, haven't you?

A grey/silver Z06 used to live around my way, it looked very very

and had a lot of road presence.

I'm really into the look of the C6 'Vette - the coupé much more than the convertible. I'd go as far as saying it's better looking than a 430/458 - at least insofar as the exterior is concerned.

I think there's a bit of prejudice about the C6 yet it possesses an advanced hydro-formed chassis, composite body (and springs of course!), great engine even if it only has push-rods, an impressive drag co-efficient and it only weighs c. 1450-1500 kg.

The best bit for me is that I can have an auto'... and an exhaust note to die-for!

Interesting you say 'Ferrari' headlights, now you mention it looks a little like a ferrari from the front and not unlike a NSX from certain rear angles. But it's all about the mad engine, handling and noise with these ... I think

And Dave, that guy's wearing a full on goatee never mind a tache (Jim Mero by the way, the guy that did the nurburgring record breaking lap in one of these cars, one of my all time youtube vids ... going to dig it out now ! )
