Out at my sisters on the west coast of Florida, I guy local to them has one and he came out of the petrol station sideways, then gave it full beans up the road. Sounded like the old renault v10 f1 car when he was blipping the throttle.
I love the look of it.

I'm waiting for the S2000 owner who'd choose the Honda over the Carrera GT to post
most of the owners can't drive 'em, either
my mate was all over one in his 120D the other night
he knows the road and does trackdays though"

They are very I'm not totally convinced of the looks, not compared to the likes of the Zonda, but a very impressive car all the same.
It may actually have been the one pictured above it had some kind of plate on it but I wasn't looking at the plate
I actually think a colour other than silver would probably do it more justice.

Looks wise, the only current car I prefer is the Zonda, and that's only because there is no more outrageous yet good looking car than the Zonda.
But I think the CGT is *almost* subtle. In as much as a

It's a touch worrying that the new 911 GT2 is reputed to be quicker than the CGT.
I don't think it would worry most owners (who won't go anywhere near a track with it - or if they do, probably OWN the track)
just not an issue for road drivers

Yah but it's all Top Trumps when you are that wedged up
Sorry but I just don't like it. It's a bit plain.
Look at the nasty wheels!
The front looks like it's trying to be a 360 modena.
Supercars should look hard as nails. Lambo or Zonda type stuff floats my boat in that price range.
We are all different though!

I love the Carrera GT, awesome looking car.. a 911 thats been down the gym! Its so unmistakeably a Porsche! Saw one in Sheffield last year, blue left hand drive and its looked stunning. Only one i've seen on the road. Yeah, the new GT2 is quicker by a whisker but that wont bother any owner of a CGT! Not when you have that V10 behind you..!
