i8 vs. NSX
I have posted before about the aesthetic but, IMHO, the new NSX posseses far too much Audi DNA in its styling ,and dare I say it, looks a tad boring . The i8 is at least visually dramatic and by most accepted standards, this is a key qualification for a 'hyper-car'.
Honda are still pissing-about with the NSX and whilst, from a petrol-head perspective, I too hope it is a success, I suspect it will suffer the same commercial fate as it's illustrious predecessor.
And in the UK the NSX is doomed to failure with the existing dealer network; no matter how good the car, why would any sane punter shelling-out £100 - £120K on a car buy it from a distribution network struggling to sell - and maintain - the automotive equivalent of cold, grey porridge?

As you say, aesthetics are subjective, but to my eyes, whilst he i8 has some dramatic styling touches, it is just to MAHOOSIVE.
