The blacked out rear quarterlight makes it look rather irrespective of whichever bells-and-whistles model it might be.....

Feck knows

Think it a Type R?

This thread reminded me of a mate who used to go on about his Scoob (pictured). My eyes used to glaze over whenever he mentioned it. Now maybe some of his blabber makes some sense.

not an rb5 as they were 4 door with gunmetal coloured alloys. Is it a jap import version.
I think the prodrive rb5 is supposed to be regarded as the best one. That, the 22b and P1 are the ones I like.

The one above is an STi Version 5 Type R.

22B will always be the holy grail of Imprezas.

P1 is regarded as the best UK market scoob.

I thought the 3 doors were Type RA, the 4 doors Type R. Or is it the other way round.

Subaru naming is daft, so many letters after the name, no-one is gonna know what they all are apart from the nerdiest of scooby enthusiasts.

If you know all the combinations (and what the differences are) then you really need to get out more

It looks an awful lot like a Simca 1100, but I agree that the clue is in the picture.
