She has been quoted the best part of

Honestly Rich, I don't think the chubbier girls pay higher insurance than their slimmer brethren, do they?

I think the only way she's going to get that reduced it by doing some good old fashioned phoning around.

Start with Confused as Mark suggests and then phone around the top 4 or 5 insurers from that to try and get them to reduce price.

Then I'd go to a broker, A-Plan (www.a-plan.co.uk) , seem to bee particularly good in my experience and challenge them to beat your quotes.

Try a little bit of porkie pie telling aswell when they ask what price they have to beat, they may have a larger margin than you think and if you go to them with a fairly high quote then you won't be saving much.

Another thing to try would be to try and put a parent on the policy as a second driver to split the risk. This usually gets the quote down a bit further too.

I always use a broker, Chris Knott in Kent.

They always beat the likes of Confused, especially for high insurance cars/people it seems.

Broker = Keith Michaels

Absolutely brilliant - beats any quote without being told what the quote was, and they know me now so usually have a good chat about one or other of the cars
