Lol Nick you have been very lucky but I bet your on borrowed time ;-) Bass I am fortunate enough to have comp Rac cover but up until now never had to use it. Take a look at how many 'seized caliper' threads are on this site. If I had a pound for everyone posted I could buy um?.... A new caliper I reckon!

I am however a bit if a perfectionist and like things done properly, so rather than repair I like to replace.

I had a seized rear calliper about 2 years ago, but it was due to the monkeys who fitted the rear pads nipping the seals on the pins and crap getting in.

I'm well prepared to change it when necessary, but all seems fine at the moment

Where do the brake lines corrode??? Might check and waxoil mine at the weekend.

Mine was around the rear axle. very difficult to get in there to sort them too.
