So the S2000 is sold

... to generate the funds for the new project!

Current status:

Eventually, it will hopefully look something like this:

I get the bulk of the kit at the end of Sept, with many months of toil ahead. I went down to the Dax factory and had a run out (passenger only) in their 330bhp 4.8 litre V8 demo car (actually the one pictured above, I think) WOW!!! Can't wait...

That looks really good. Hopefully you'll keep us up to date as the project progresses.

Nice one Pete! So you won't be joining us at Donington in October then?

Getting most of it at the end of September - gives you 2 weeks - so we'll see you at Donington

Donington unlikely... unless it's in the little poiple T-reg Fester 1.25 Zetec I'm currently using! (It's a Ghia, y'know)

I am hoping to manage a track outing some time during the project build, assuming the budget will run to a Bookatrack Caterham hire...

I'll still be lurking round here, picking folks brains as I work out the best way of shoe-horning the F20C lump in, whether to dry-sump, which bits of pipe-work I can do without etc etc...

Good stuff

Currently building what started out as a V8 Fury, so if you want to pick my brains about anything, feel free.

(For instance, look at an accusump as a cheaper alternative to dry sumping).

As you're probably aware PJL runs an accusump in his S, so might be the source of some advice there.
