"There's always quite a lot of weird speculation about my relationship status, but I have had the same girlfriend since I moved in here seven-and-a-half years ago".

 

Frankly amazed at the effect James May seems to have on people.

 

I should have thought it was obvious he's straight.

But they do get a lot of mileage out of the apparent query over the issue.

Maybe it's because one is expected to behave like a brachiating brain-dead boorish philistine these days; knowing stuff or having appreciation of finer things is deeply unfashionable.

 

Maybe people think he's a bit like Stephen Fry, or something.

 

Just because one is a polymath doesn't mean one sucks dick 4 life.

 

If it wasn't so well publicised that Hamster had a wife and kids, I'd be more inclined to think that he batted for the other side than May, I think.

 

I used to think the Hamster's beads looked a bit suspect, probably because he is quite diminutive, then Gritty started wearing his. Real men do wear beads.

Richard Hammond is quite a heart throb with the ladies, I believe that he has been voted highly fanciable in a poll conducted by a women's magazine. His wife writes for a Sunday newspaper about their life in the country.
