I don't know , but being basically Kerosene with a few goodies added to retard fire ( well they try ) would it not be good for a diesel as it would lack lubrication.

I know a farmer that had an old escort ( A petrol ) dumped on his farm, he converted it for his son to drive around the farm , 5 gallon drum in the boot as a 2nd tank with a switch over valve , start up on petrol until warm then change to parafin, bit smoky but worked for months ok
