Price is about the same as all the other exhausts, not too horrendous, especially in comparison to the S exhausts

And yes we did chat at length I seem to remember

And milkyman better watch out or I'm gonna come and sit outside his house in the afternoon revving the engine

untill i get over 7000 rpm that is

You will never totally eliminate the 'burble'; a boxer four has uneven firing inpulses compared to an inline four, being timed like conjoined twins instead. It produces an odd rotating couple, which can cause the car to rock at idle.

My formative years were spent with 'Suds & GSs, so I have a particular soft spot for the Subaru engine and its German antecedents.

Really, it is still the best way to package a front- or front-four wheel drive compact car, as well as having charm & character.
