Apparently it needs an ID3/WMA Tag.

I cannot seem to ascertain which one it requires (JVC don't seem to make car audio, according to their webshite).

Anyone know?

TIA

Well AFAIK, ID3 is the tag you put on MP3s with artist/title etc, and WMA tags are the same thing for the WMA format. Itunes supports both so your MP3s will need ID3 tags, and your WMA files will need WMA tags.

Basically what I'm saying is the tags you need will depend on which of the two formats your music is in.

Ah, think the head unit supports those formats.

Hence the need to get the right box on the wire, so it doesn't decode those too.

Bloody firmware!
