Yes this is a problem with nearly all cleaners, especially for the next 48 hours or so, even if you use the products sparingly. If the seats are in excellent condition I never use any cleaner at all, I simply soak and wring out till nearly dry a synthetic chamois in warm clean water, and wipe the seats down with that, it adds a nice amount of water/hydration to the seats and cleans them perfectly and without the skidding afterwards. 
I'll give that a go...they are both heated and electrically adjustable so I'll proceed sparingly

If you want to clean your leather and not leave a strong leather smell behind then I would recommend lexol PH cleaner.
Get the Lexol protectant too; it makes the leather really soft.
