it's a shame you can't use your Pluspoints card when you fill up with Jet-A1

good letter that though - it will be interesting to see what response you get

Great work Ian!

IIRC Optimax ran with double PlusPoints for a while (about the time of the Clarkson advertising push) which was quite useful. I know I get a shed load of PlusPoints as I religiously only use Optimax so any incentives from Shell will be most welcome!

Great letter - hope it reaches the right person in Shell - they need to do something to make it more worthwhile because I reckon the Pluspoints scheme is pikey!

Ian,
Did you receive a response from Shell? They are running another promotion on Optimax with double points from today until 7th May. I'm not sure if it makes up for the 3p price rise on Monday

Nice letter!!

Can you also get them to put a big sign up as to whether the Shell station you stop at actually sells Optimax!!!

There is nothing worse than pulling up, driving round all the pumps....................to find the particular station doesn't sell Optimax

(oh yeah you look like a plonker to the untrained eye too!!)

We could try the mass bombarding approach!! All copy your letter (change the name obviously!! ) and send one each to Shell HQ!! or maybe we could find their e-mail!!(cause I am Lazy!!)

They might take a little bit of notice then!!................but I doubt it!
