Wonder why they badged it as a Lexi? Maybe better as a Toyota, at least they have some pedigree in racing and history of some fast stuff.

The initial price and final price were 2 very different things, at the original prices it was looking like an NSX replacement.

Considering the ISF sounds awesome I was expecting this to sound fantastic. The initial clips of it going round the ring sound great, but in car it sounds incredibly crap.

Very similar to GTR, and 6 times the cost. Don't really see the point.

It would make more sense to me badged as the new Supra

I started a thread a while back here :

Indeed bonkers, but it's a Halo car to drag sales up.

They are doing a few "F" badged cars now to try and compete with the BMW "M" brand.

Either sell a lot more at a lower price, or only a few at a monster price.

But what's the point?

It's not going to get any above the line exposure so the plebs are not going to even know it exists.

It's priced too high for the performance / badge on offer so I can't imagine somone looking at a Zonda Cinque would consider one so it's going to be a non existent site on the roads.

It's a complete waste of space and development budget - it doesn't serve any purpose that I can see.

The point is they can.

It'll make a loss, but the tech that they've used will filter down into the IS250d they build in 5 years time.

Toyota are the biggest car manufacturer, I see this with the new Toybaru as a "we are back making sports cars" statement.

Dropping out of F1 and going back to proper racing also helps.
