Default Life after s2000 !

Just wondered what people will buy next when the S is replaced ?

I have had coupes, convertibles, saloons so next for me would be a 4 x 4 thingy or something similiar as I have never owned one of these . Saw the new Porche last week on the road and thought it looked awful, a jacked up boxster . X5 is ok but we all know about bmw drivers, I have been one !! Arrogant !!! ..

For me it would be a 996 Carrera , I like the look of these.

I dont intend to replace the S for a long while yet though ..

We've got a CRV as well as the S2000. I can't fault it.

If I were to get rid of the S for something else, it would have to be another convertible. TVR Tamora maybe.

BTW. I rather like the Porch Cayenne. Saw one in a showroom, impressed by the styling inside & out.

God we're so blinkered I replaced my Cit estate with an Accord Tourer earlier this year It's just fab.

The cars used to be 'The Cit' or 'The Honda' now it's 'Thunderbird 1' and 'Thunderbird 2'

I would admit to getting panicy feelings about the very idea of having to replace the S2000. When I first got one 2 years ago, I used to have nightmares that it was all a mistake and I'd have to give the car back

All this talk of an 8000 rpm 2.2 has been bothering me too. The only other thing I fancy at the moment is a TVR T350C - but I'd worry about its ability to handle the abuse of my 'care and attention'

I`m getting a Touareg, when my S days are over. No mistake.

The VW streak in me is powerful. We were on about how much my S + a Golf Est TDI 110 Mk IV would release only on Friday....

If the test drive isn`t good, then it`d be an S4 estate...

Merc 350SL, something with a bit more class (not saying the S hasnt). I'm losing the need for speed and still want a convertible. MX5 just doesnt do it....

It would have to be either a TVR Tuscan:

OR
A Jeep Grand Cherokee:

I used to be indecisive.... but now I'm not so sure.

I think it is a nightmare scenario even trying to consider what to replace the S with ...... I will probably be moving to Hong Kong next year and can't take the S with me (because of ridiculous taxes there) so will have to decide what to get while I am there ... The only car that I would want to change the S for at the moment would be a 911 ..... but there is a significant price difference between the two !!

Replace the S... la, la, la, la not listening, la, la
I 've only just got mine and can't even think about replacing it, it would be akin to adultery.
