At the lights. Girlfriend says 'do him'
We pulled up to the lights then i guy pull up beside me wanting to move ahead of us so i give it a steady start, he pulls half a car, then i hit VTEC and pull away from him. Next of lights, same situation but the better half wants me to do him as i said. Im better of the line but i explain the problems of launching the car.
Later on i 'propper' launch on a quiet indutrial estate road. Plenty of wheel spin and back end sliding about. Safe to say that she didnt like it much. Thats why, i explain, i didnt want to do him. Fun times!

Mr CJ has done similar - he doesn't like me flooring it (blah blah blah) but there has been occasion when he's taken a dislike to the numpty next to us and has given me specific instruction to nail the barsteward.
