Default LionHeart knocks Button.

BBC Sport.

He was a boring bast**d but he could race and I agree with him on this one.
Never rated Jenson at all.

I disagree, I think he's just as capable of winning the championship as Hamilton or Alonso. Shame that Honda are a bunch of useless bastards.

I wonder if Button has shagged his daughter or something, cos mansell has always been hard on Button. How exactly can someone's driving make up for the fact that their car is arguably (it's between it and the Spyker) the worst on the 2007 grid.

I am no Button and certainly no BAR fanboy, but I do believe he's a driver with tragically un-tapped potential.

At what age and after how many races did Mansell finally become world chapion ?

I honestly can't remember, but I know it was later on in his career.

about 32 when he won his first race.. about 39 when he was world champ

obviously a late developer.. but he also missed out on championship twice in his first stint with williams - so you could say he was either un-lucky or a choker ? he needed a totally dominant car in 92 and a weak team mate to win the title..

just read a quote apparently from nelson piquet who called him "an uneducated blockhead"

Mansell was very unlucky not to win the World Championship in 1986 when he rear tyre blew. It took him five years to win his first race at Brands Hatch in 1985.

Can't see why button is staying with Honda of all teams. I know he doesn't want to buy himself out of another contract, but if he doesn't get in a competitive car soon he's going to be too late.

If he's not already.

And we read

Na!Na!Na! - I was the greatest champion of all time and boo sucks to Jenson because he knows how to enjoy himself. He never gave me a job advising him like Ferrari did for Michael. He never plays golf with me. Wa! Wa! Wa!
