Default Loan car

My car was in to OPC Wilmslow on Tuesday to have the idler pulley bearing and alternator replaced. Thankfully this work was covered under warranty. Normally this would be a bit of a pain however I had agreed a loan car and booked a few weeks in advance. Now being used to ALM who's loan cars tend to be the Honda Jazz or Hyundai shitbox and before that BMW where I ended up with Vectra's (very often.... ) I was a little suprised to be offered what I ended up with.

A brand new 997 Carrera 2S. The only downside was I had to insure it. My insurer eventually obliged although they did bulk at the 75k value and charged me

Very

Your 996 looks better from behind and the 997 looks better from the front IMO

I agree with Jamie - Lee's 996 does look better with the red rear reflector at the back, but the round lights look much nicer at the front.

Hmmm. Now, what has round lights and a red reflector at the back.....?

(Not too sure about the new 997 wheels either - a bit fussy. I prefer the look of the Turbo wheels on Lee's car)

I really hate the red reflector. It's so 80's japanese.
