M3 competition package
Just having a look at the M3 and notice that they now do a competition package which gives EDC, some CSL type alloys and I think reduced ride height.
Does anyone know what else it includes? Its about 3k although I think EDC is about 1200 so it appears that 1800 covers the reduced ride height and CSL alloys.

Nice cars but their marketing people need a serious slap sometimes.
The X6 has apparently sold in excess of 80,000 units. The marketing people clearly understand what people desire of the BMW brand, what they want to buy and how to sell it to them.
Had Honda UK's marketing people been so capable there may have been far more interesting vehicles available from the brand - and in Grand Prix White too

Depends upon your POV.

Slap the punters then?
I've been reading up on the E46 M3 CS and apparently the extras were sold in other countries as the 'competition package'.
In addition to what's already been mentioned is a quicker steering rack, not sure if that's still the case for the E9x models but it tickles my fancy even if the name is naff

Funny you should mention this i'm currently speaking to a dealer about the pack. He didn't know about it before I'd spoken to him. From what I gather the EDC and steering rack have settings that are bespoke to the competition - The EDC is set up for less roll and pitch , and the DSC has another 'sport' mode which allows more slip - generally it's a bit more hardcore.

I like that. In one of the grey colours it will look just like the original pre launch car.
When you spec it with a few other extras it comes out at 63k +.
Im looking forward to seeing a head to head against an RS5.
