I do fear that matt black will become too common over time much like Silver did in the 90's.

Actually, I think it will be a bugger to maintain; get too carried away and you'll end up with a dull gloss black!

Not sure that the matt black will become that common.

I guy from Brabus (at the motorshow) told me that it's a very expensive process, and was an expensive option as a result.

Not sure why though, he was German and boring so I walked off

matt black will be 1 of them colours like orange is on the S.
love it or hate it it'll still be reltively rare as normal manufactures wont offer it.
i think it could be the colour for the jap cars.

paint application i presume will be the same as anything else - spray it on as normal.
it's the cost of the paint that would put the price up... think of the
