Default Mintex brake pads and discs

My mothers grande punto needs new discs and pads, was looking at Mintex disc and pads has anyone used this brand before?

Its not a performance vehicle obviously LOL.

Why not buy OEM? Consumables are usually very competitively priced, if not cheaper than non-OEM stuff.

OEM are definetly not cheaper, i'd rather avoid dealing with the local dealership too. TBH though If I'd of wanted OEM I'd of got them rather than asking on here.

BOM, Matt I think the S maybe different but will we see I'll reserve judgement till i get them fitted.

Thanks Ron just wanted to confirm they were a known brand, there's cheaper shite on ebay which costs less.

Yes, very well known tbh. I have ran 1144s with good reports and a lot of the race guys run 1166s.

Reports of squealing are no doubt from poor installation and pads not quite bedded in
