Default mk2 escort on S2k chassis

Just read on retro rides that some nutjob has cut out the floorpan of a mk2 eski and put the shell on an S chassis.

My phone/computer skills won't let me link it so if someone clever wants to find it it's in the readers rides section of retro rides.

Win win in my book.

What completely deranged twunt would destroy a mint S2000 to make that Frankenstein disgusting piece of sh1t. They ought to be disembowelled and have their lights fed to the pigs, whilst still alive.

Cheers buddy

Looking beyond the fact that he has removed an S from the road you have to admire the balls and skill of the guy. He will have a seriously quick escort which is very different to the usual cossie engine and it should handle as well.

Having now seen the thread I'm torn.... Love the concept and the execution, but destroying a such a good condition car seems ridiculous - surely a suitable cat D would have been a more appropriate donor car?

Should have done this:

From a cost point of view he'll be at around £10-12k if he used a mk2 with a rotten floor. Much cheaper than shp car. I'm all for it. We are getting a bit too precious over the S. And it's different and outside the box.
