More diesel drivel
Whilst in the BMW dealership recently I picked up their flyer on the 330cd (driven one, so fancied a laugh)
It was full of Autocar test reports and I feel bound to share some with you.........
'The best car in the real world"
"That's what we thought this car would be at the start of this test and after 20,000 miles, Ben Oliver's more convinced than ever"
Still with me? Things get a LOT better.
"A mate lucky enough to have a Ferrari 360 and a Porsche 911 turbo insists his 330cd is his favourite."

Great post, Gad.
This is why I make a point of reading such mags in the shop & returning them to the shelves.
The World is filling up with sycophantic drivel. It's probably the true cause of alleged global warming.
Thank god you posted this today Gad, i.e. the last day before I pick up the new car.
Fo performance and features like that I can afford to lose the deposit as the grin I'll get from the bmw diesel will more than make it worth it.
Feck me that was a close call.

We laugh but a 335d would thump the S2000 for every measure of performance except 'how far can you rev'. I'm led to believe they do intend to build it although I can't begin to imagine how much it would cost appropriately tarted up with options.
My old man had one of the early 330d's and it was a great car and good for overtaking. It's flat out figures really betray its on the road clout IMHO.

19.8 seconds is a SLOW time
and I find to difficult to accept that any car can be slow 0-100 but quick everywhere else
